- Preparation, all surfaces need to be thoroughly cleaned down by high pressure washing equipment, or if needed by needle gun, at this stage all dirt mould algae and loose paint will be removed. Then an application of Bio cide chemical wash will be applied to remove algae and mould.
- Masking up this second process is to protect all doors windows gutters facias if upvc , patio, paths great care is used to protect driveways and neighboring properties.
- Restoration and Repair works, this stage is to professionally repair any damaged or loose render and cracking, we then reinstate using polymer modified cements or resin 2 part bonded fillers to create an even surface.
- Primer / Sealer during this stage we apply MAKER coating systems with built in curing agents designed to give excellent adhesion and waterproofing, also being fully breathable.
- Application using specialist spray equipment applying MAKER coating systems applied 20 times Thicker than regular masonry paint, at a rate of 2,000 BAR or 1.5 Kilos per square meter ensuring a perfect uniformed finish, colours to agreed subject to availability.

Santucci Specialist Coating – Long lasting protection to natural stone and feature brickwork
Santucci Specialist Coating provides protection to a variety of stone, brick and other surfaces from the harsh effects of air pollution, including exhaust gasses, severe weather conditions, as well as mould, moss and algae that build up in the damp weather. Although this coating does not serve as a form of waterproofing, it instead provides a breathable finish that is both weatherproof and micro-porous, allowing water vapour to pass out through the exterior walls without letting moisture penetrate back through to inside.
At Santucci Specialist Coatings we have the specialist knowledge required to apply this coating so that it can work to its full potential and achieve maximum effect. It is important to understand that this is NOT a DIY job.
All areas of your domestic or commercial property will need to be masked, including doors, windows, gutters, as well as your garden lawns, paths and plants to ensure that only the surfaces that should be covered are treated. It is then a case of pressure washing all of the surfaces that are ready to be treated to remove all contaminants and debris.
Once surfaces are clean it is then a case of analysing the structural integrity of the surface. Any damaged brickwork or stonework is repaired or replaced, and any hairline cracks are carefully veed out and repaired too. Finally, joints between window and door frames are professionally sealed to ensure they are waterproof. Please be aware that preparation may not be required to this extent depending on condition of the surface that is to be treated.
We use a Biocide as our pre-coating of choice, as not only is it ecologically safe, but it is also the most effective treatment available. It is applied to all areas affected by mould and algae growth to completely eliminate all signs. Once this has been left to dry overnight, this pre-treatment is then rinsed off prior to application of the specialist coating.
Our Santucci Specialist Coating is then applied by a low pressure spray, or by flood coating using a soft brush. The coating is generously applied, working from top to bottom, allowing it to saturate into the surface and ensure full coverage. Multiple coatings may be necessary to guarantee this.
Once completely dry, Santucci Specialist Coating is invisible, and your stone or brickwork will look clean and attractive while gaining the new weatherproof breathable properties of the coating.
